Rome is full of beautiful churches but if you want to discover some of the Papal Basilica this tour is for you! The tour starts visiting Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica, located on the top of Esquiline hill: it is one of the four Papal basilicas of Rome and is the only one that has preserved the early Christian structures.

The tour continues with the visit of Saint Peter in Chains’ church, where you can admire the famous statue of Moses sculpted by Michelangelo Buonarroti and the chains that held St. Peter prisoner. The next stop will be in Four Crowned Saints church dedicated to 4 anonymous saints and martyrs and then you will visit the Holy Steps, the ladder climbed by Jesus where he underwent the interrogatory by Ponzio Pilato before the crucifixion.

The tour ends at St. John Lateran Basilica, the oldest of the four papal basilicas, considered the mother of all churches.
